Ep 6. The Black Key

The Black Key is the sixth episode of Diablero season 2, a Mexican supernatural thriller streaming on Netflix. In this episode, Father Ramiro again watches over his sister, Isabela. Since her resurrection earlier in the series, she becomes the secret weapon of the demon Asmodeus. Intriguingly the story depicts her as resolute, showing that she has become accustomed to life as an undead. Despite her alliances with the demon, she still tries to convey cryptic messages when permitted by Asmodeus.

The demon Asmodeus seemingly becomes more calculated and manipulative in this episode, playing his cards close to his chest so that he keeps his enemies guessing. He orchestrates the scene with great cunning when he sends his team of followers to hunt down Sister Nancy, Isaac, and Kamila. This culminates in an intense chase sequence, which is one of many engaging highlights of this season.

Brought together by fate, Elvis and Sister Nancy must work together with their crews to ensure the Black Key doesn't reach the demon's hands and save the world from Asmodeus's hegemony.
