Ep 3. The Time Warrior, Ep. 3

At the tournament, they meet Sir Edward of Wessex, his squire Hal, and his daughter Lady Eleanor. Sir Edward is a respected knight and jousting champion, and the Doctor quickly befriends him. However, they soon discover that a group of men have been systematically attacking and killing members of the local population. The Doctor realizes that these men are being controlled by Linx from his crashed spaceship, and he sets out to stop him.

As they investigate further, the Doctor and Sarah Jane sneak into Linx's spaceship and try to sabotage it. However, Linx catches them in the act and captures the Doctor. He then forces Sarah Jane to help him repair his spaceship in exchange for the Doctor's release. Sarah Jane reluctantly agrees, but as she works on the ship, she secretly tries to find a way to escape and rescue the Doctor.

Ultimately, the Doctor and Sarah Jane work together to defeat Linx and his plans for domination. The Doctor is able to reprogram Linx's damaged spaceship to erase its memory and avoid interfering with human history, and Sarah Jane helps Sir Edward and his men defeat the rogue warriors who had been under Linx's control.

In the end, the Doctor and Sarah Jane say goodbye to Sir Edward and Lady Eleanor and enter the time vortex once again, ready for their next adventure.
