  • March 13, 2013

This episode of Encouragement of Climb follows the journey of four friends as they continue their ascent of Mt. Fuji. After reaching the seventh station and taking a much-needed break, they push on towards the summit. However, as they climb higher, the altitude begins to take its toll on their bodies.

Aoi, the leader of the group, begins to feel the effects of altitude sickness and struggles to catch her breath. Hinata, a seasoned climber, encourages her to take it slow and steady, reminding her that the goal is not just to reach the summit, but to enjoy the journey and the beauty of the mountain.

Meanwhile, Kaede and Kokona, two newer members of the group, begin to feel the psychological effects of the climb. Kaede becomes overwhelmed with fear and Kokona starts to lose her confidence, both feeling like they may not be able to make it to the top.

As the group continues their ascent, they encounter other climbers from around the world, including a group of Japanese men who have climbed over 100 mountains together and a group of foreign exchange students from Europe. They all share stories of their own climbing experiences and offer words of encouragement to Aoi and her friends.

Despite the challenges they face, Aoi and her friends continue on, taking breaks when needed and pushing through their fears and doubts. When they finally reach the summit, they are greeted with a beautiful sunrise and a sense of accomplishment that they will never forget.

As they make their descent, they reflect on their journey and the lessons they learned along the way. They realize that the climb was not just about reaching the summit, but about pushing themselves to their limits and supporting each other through the challenges they faced.
