Watch Frontline

Frontline is a public affairs television show that was created in 1983 by David Fanning. They specialize in documentaries about a variety of different subjects. The show has won 44 Emmys and 24 DuPont-Columbia University Awards. It has also won 13 Peabody Awards, and 11 Robert F. Kennedy Journalism awards, many more awards to mention.

The documentaries do not have a focus in one particular area. The documentaries go from child abuse, to Christianity, from Hollywood to Washington. It can vary. Frontline has produced more than 530 documentaries.

The Frontline show is one of the most well known and respected series in public broadcasting. The show gives attention to topics that receive little coverage elsewhere on TV. Frontline also has a big internet presence.

The show has been around for 30 years and counting, and has just recently switched to a year round schedule, this has caused them to produce more material. Frontline has put out many popular documentaries. More recently the one about killing Osama Bin Laden drew some attention. It was put together within days of the even happening, and was a thorough as anything available, that took months to produce.

Most of the documentaries are 60 minutes long. On other occasions they can be up to 0 minutes, depending on the topic and importance. Since around 1995 Frontline has been publishing extended interviews, detailed chronologies, side stories, related links and more online.

Frontline provides many facts in their documentaries, and stirred controversy among different groups on occasions.
