Fullmetal alchemist is a epic tale of two brothers seeking out the philosopher's stone in an attempt to recover their bodies after a tragic mishap. The two Elrich brothers enlist in the alchemist army as military dogs that are able to conduct the magical ability known as alchemy. Needless to say, being the military dogs entails a lot of adventures for the two brothers. One day they may be overthrowing an evil dictator. On another day they are saving the city from a type of monster known as a chimera.

Along their journey, the brothers meet a variety of colorful characters such as the brutish Colonel Mustang, the honorable Lieutenant Armstrong, and the dangerous Scar.
