The Hairy Bikers are back with another mouth-watering episode that takes you on a culinary journey through the swampy state of Louisiana in the southern United States. In episode 7, appropriately titled "Drunken Gator," Si and Dave explore the cuisine and culture of Cajun country, a place known for its rich history, vibrant music and, of course, its delicious food.

The episode kicks off with the bikers visiting a local brewery where they sample some of the state's finest craft beers, including a spicy IPA that they vow to use in their cooking later. From there, they head to a nearby alligator farm where they meet some of the resident gators and learn about the importance of these creatures in Louisiana's Cajun culture.

Next up, the boys head to a traditional Cajun restaurant where they cook up some authentic dishes using the freshest local ingredients. Si whips up a delicious gumbo while Dave tries his hand at making a classic crawfish étouffée. The two dishes turn out so tasty that the locals even give them two thumbs up!

As the day draws to a close, the bikers head back to their campsite where they set up a makeshift kitchen to cook their final dish of the day – drunken gator. Using a combination of fresh alligator meat, spicy peppers, and the beer they sampled earlier, the boys create a dish that is as flavorful as it is unique.

Throughout the episode, Si and Dave immerse themselves in the Cajun culture, trying everything from dancing to zydeco music to taking part in a traditional crawfish boil. Along the way, they meet plenty of interesting locals – from a group of shrimpers working hard to make ends meet to a family-run distillery producing some of the best whiskey in the state.

Overall, "Drunken Gator" is a fun and informative episode that showcases the best of Louisiana's unique cuisine and culture. Whether you're a fan of spicy gumbo or just curious about gator meat, this episode has something for everyone.
