Ep 6. Black Angel/Arizona Domes

In season 2 episode 6 of Haunted Highway, entitled "Black Angel/Arizona Domes," the team - comprised of paranormal experts Jack Osbourne, Dana Workman, Devin Marble, and Jael de Pardo - ventures to two locations steeped in macabre lore.

Firstly, they visit Council Bluffs, Iowa, where the infamous Black Angel statue resides. The statue, which depicts an angel in mourning and is said to be inspired by a woman who lost her children and husband in a shipwreck, has a storied history of attracting paranormal activity. People have reportedly seen apparitions around the statue, heard unexplained screams, and even received mysterious phone calls after visiting. The team meets with a local journalist who has extensively researched the Black Angel and tries various techniques to evoke any spirits present.

Next, they head to Casa Grande, Arizona, to investigate the abandoned Arizona Domes. The domes were built in the 1980s as part of a futuristic eco-village, but the project was abandoned and the domes have since become a magnet for explorers, vandals, and ghost hunters. The team climbs into the decaying structures, dealing with bats, spiders, and treacherous stairs. They conduct a variety of experiments and interviews, including using a drone to scan the area and speaking with a group of locals who claim to have seen alien spacecraft hovering over the domes.

As the investigation progresses, the team encounters strange occurrences at both locations. A mysterious figure appears on the Black Angel statue and strange noises emanate from the Arizona Domes. Even more unsettling, two of the team members experience vivid hallucinations and physical discomfort. Combined with the eerie surroundings, this episode is sure to send shivers down viewers' spines.
