In I Feel Bad season 1 episode 11, titled "We're Not Fun Anymore", Emet and David struggle to connect with their younger selves as they realize they've become "boring" as adults. Emet tries to prove that she's still fun by organizing a couples trip to a music festival, but the trip takes an unexpected turn when the couples start bickering and Emet and David feel more disconnected than ever. Meanwhile, Lily tries to hide her boyfriend from her judgmental grandparents, but ends up getting caught in a web of lies. And Chewey confronts Norman about ghosting him after their one-night stand.

As the episode begins, Emet is feeling a little down after overhearing her co-workers describe her and David as "boring" now that they're parents. Determined to prove them wrong, she suggests that she and David plan a spontaneous couples trip to a music festival. Though David is initially hesitant, he eventually agrees to go along with it, and the two of them spend the day reminiscing about their younger selves and trying to reconnect with the carefree, fun-loving people they used to be.

However, things quickly start to go awry when they arrive at the festival. First, they realize that they're the oldest people there by at least a decade, and that most of the other concertgoers are busy getting drunk and high. Then, they run into a group of younger couples who are all fighting with each other, and they start to bicker as well. Emet and David both feel like they're not having as much fun as they should be, and they start to worry that they really have become "boring" after all.

Meanwhile, Lily is trying to keep her new boyfriend a secret from her overbearing grandparents, who disapprove of her dating anyone. She enlists Emet's help in sneaking around and lying to her family, but things get complicated when her boyfriend unexpectedly shows up at the festival. Lily tries to hide him from her grandparents, but they end up sneaking up on her and catching her in a lie. She's forced to confront their disapproval head-on, and she starts to question whether being in a relationship is even worth the hassle.

Finally, Chewey confronts Norman after realizing that he's been ghosting him since their one-night stand. Norman tries to play it cool and insist that he's not interested in anything serious, but Chewey sees right through his casual attitude and calls him out for being selfish. The two of them have a heart-to-heart conversation about their feelings and what they're looking for in a relationship, and Chewey ultimately decides to move on from Norman and focus on finding someone who's on the same page as him.

Overall, "We're Not Fun Anymore" is a poignant episode that explores the challenges of growing up and maintaining a sense of spontaneity and fun in the face of adult responsibilities. Emet and David's struggles to connect with their younger selves are relatable and poignant, while Lily's story adds a touch of humor and levity to the mix. And, of course, Chewey and Norman's storyline brings a much-needed dose of LGBTQ+ representation and complex storytelling to the table. All in all, it's a strong episode that showcases the best of what I Feel Bad has to offer.
