Ep 12. Shibahama UFO Wars!

Asakusa, Mizusaki, and Kanamori have finally completed their anime project and are ready to present it to the school festival. However, their excitement is short-lived as they discover that the school has opted to replace their open-air screening with a closed-door theater showing, leading to a critical lack of audience turnout. Nevertheless, the trio is not deterred and find a creative solution to draw attention to their film. They team up with the school's science club to stage a mock invasion of a Shibahama UFO War inspired alien invasion, taking advantage of the event's pre-existing extraterrestrial theme. With the help of the science club, they create a variety of futuristic gadgets and props, transforming the school into an immersive sci-fi landscape, complete with flying saucers and laser beams.

As the event begins, Asakusa, Mizusaki, and Kanamori dress up as alien creatures and start a fake war with the school's sci-fi club. The event turns into an unforgettable spectacle, replete with thrilling action sequences and amusing antics. However, Like everything else in their lives, problems begin to arise; the principal shuts down the event for administrative irregularities, and the police arrive to break up the chaos.

As the authority figures close in, the trio of girls uses their creativity to come up with a solution on the fly. Kanamori's financial management skills and Mizusaki's artistic talent kick in, and they throw together a pop-up exhibit to showcase their work. Amongst the chaos of the festival, the exhibit becomes an instant hit, surprising everyone.

As the day wraps up, the trio spends their last moments together. Asakusa expresses her guilt about her not having thanked Mizusaki and Kanamori often enough. However, Mizusaki is quick to shoot to her down, telling her that she doesn't need to force the gratitude as she knows Asakusa views them as equals. The trio leaves with a sense of profound satisfaction and camaraderie.
