In Killer Kids season 1 episode 7, titled "Hate Killers (#4)", the show explores the brutal and shocking true story of two teenage girls who were consumed by hate and driven to commit a senseless murder. The episode takes viewers back to Saginaw, Michigan in 2010 where 17-year-old Samantha and 18-year-old Miki, who were both outcasts at school, began to bond over their mutual hatred for a girl named Kimberly. Kimberly was well-liked and beautiful, and the two girls were envious of her popularity. Rather than finding a healthy way to deal with their emotions or even seeking help, Samantha and Miki decided to take matters into their own hands with tragic consequences.

Fueled by mounting rage and a desire for revenge, the girls plotted Kimberly's murder. They purchased a shovel, gloves, and a tarp to aid in the killing. They tricked Kimberly into coming to Samantha's home where they proceeded to beat her with a shovel. As if that wasn't enough, they also stabbed Kimberly with a kitchen knife, bashing her head into the concrete floor of the basement, and finally suffocating her with the tarp. As if concocting the murder plan itself was not brutal enough, the girls proceeded to mock Kimberly's dead body, posting pictures of themselves posing with Kimberly's corpse on social media.

The murder of Kimberly sent shockwaves through the community and the police were quickly able to identify Samantha and Miki as the culprits. As the investigation unfolded, it was discovered that Samantha and Miki had been documenting their hate for Kimberly on various social media platforms in the weeks leading up to the murder. They posted hateful, hurtful messages about Kimberly and plotted her death for all to see. The posts would later be used as evidence against them in court.

The episode not only delves into the murder itself but also on the aftermath and the impact on the families involved. Kimberly's parents speak out about their grief and the difficulty of losing their daughter so senselessly. The families of Samantha and Miki, who were also affected by the tragedy, talk about the difficulties they faced in coming to terms with what their children had done. They reflect on what could have been done to prevent such horrific actions and the signs they may have missed.

Killer Kids season 1 episode 7, "Hate Killers (#4)", is a chilling tale of how hate and anger can lead young people to commit unspeakable acts of violence. The episode serves as a stark reminder of the importance of understanding and addressing issues of mental health and bullying among teens. It also highlights the dangers of social media, where harmful behavior can be amplified and encouraged. Viewers are left with a sobering warning that actions have consequences, and that hate and violence can never be justified.
