After struggling with his identity, his marriage, and his job, Miles (Paul Rudd) decides to undergo a revolutionary procedure at a strip mall spa that promises to improve his life in every way. However, unbeknownst to him, the spa uses cloning technology to create a better version of himself, and the original Miles is left for dead on the side of the road.

The episode follows both versions of Miles as they try to navigate their new reality. The new and improved Miles is full of energy, charm, and confidence, effortlessly impressing everyone around him. He excels at work, impresses his wife, and even takes up a new hobby: playing the cello.

The original Miles, on the other hand, wakes up in a shallow grave and struggles to piece together what has happened to him. He finds his way back home to his wife, Kate (Aisling Bea), only to find that she is shocked and terrified to see him alive and well. Miles is bewildered as he realizes that his wife has unknowingly been sleeping with his clone.

The two Miles quickly become adversaries, each feeling that they are the "real" version of themselves. They compete for their wife's affection, vying for control over their own life, and ultimately, coming to blows in a comical and violent scene.

The episode is full of surreal and comedic moments, as well as some heart-wrenching scenes between the Miles clone and Kate, as they begin to fall in love with each other.
