The first round involves answering a series of multiple-choice questions while strapped into a high-speed rotating capsule that spins the contestant around in a circle. The faster the capsule spins, the more difficult it becomes for the contestant to focus, making it even more challenging to answer the questions accurately.

Next up is the pattern recognition round, where contestants are shown a sequence of images and must identify the pattern that connects them. This requires quick thinking and a sharp memory as the images flash by in rapid succession.

In the third round, contestants must navigate a maze while simultaneously answering questions. The catch is that the maze is projected onto a virtual reality headset and the questions are being asked by a virtual assistant, making it even more challenging to stay focused.

The fourth round sees contestants placed in a loopy hoop where they must rotate around and find objects hidden within the hoops while being asked questions. The challenge becomes increasingly difficult as the hoops narrow, leaving less and less room to move around.

In the final round, the remaining contestants face off in a head-to-head challenge that will determine who moves on to the next round. In this round, contestants are given a grid of flashing lights and must memorize the pattern before quickly recreating it under pressure.

Week Eight of Mental Samurai season 1 is full of heart-pumping challenges and high-pressure situations that push the contestants to their limits.
