Ep 1. Dynasties, Dinero, and Dysfunction

Mexican Dynasties is a reality series that follows the lives of several wealthy and influential families in Mexico City. The Madrazos are a more eccentric family and are led by Oscar and Paulina Madrazo. Oscar is a successful businessman who made his fortune in real estate and Paulina is a fashion designer. They have two children - their son, Raquel, and daughter, Doris. Raquel is openly gay and is known for his extravagant fashion sense and over-the-top parties. Doris is quieter than her brother but is equally as successful. She's a successful businesswoman and owns a popular bar in Mexico City.

The Bessudos are the newest family on the scene and are led by Mr. Bessudo, a real estate developer. He and his wife, Regina, have two children - Jaime and Jenny. Jaime is the heir to the family business and is being groomed to take over from his father. He's in a serious relationship with a woman named Sandra and hopes to propose soon. Jenny is the younger of the two siblings and is a bit of a wild child. She lives in Los Angeles and is pursuing a career in entertainment.

Throughout the episode, viewers get to see the families interact with each other and learn about their complicated relationships. There's tension between the Allendes and the Madrazos when Raquel is not invited to Fernando's birthday party. There's also drama between Adan and his parents when they confront him about his partying ways. In the Bessudo family, tension arises when Mr. Bessudo pressures Jaime to get married and start a family.

Despite the drama, there are also tender moments throughout the episode. Viewers get to see the close relationship between Paulina and Raquel, who he calls his best friend. There's also a sweet moment when Sandra surprises Jaime at his work with lunch.
