52. A Very Special Place

February 18, 2014

A very bored Oopsy arrives at Q Pootle 5's house. She is convinced there's nothing to do. Pootle suggests that they go and visit somewhere really amazing. So, with that, Pootle and Oopsy travel a great distance to find a giant telescope on a small planet in deep space. The telescope reveals some wondrous things, dancing comets, a rainbow nebula and a mirror galaxy.

51. Rocket Remote

Q Pootle 5 reveals his new jet pack - complete with rocket boosters - to a very impressed Oopsy and Stella. Eddi however isn't so sure. It looks a bit dangerous. Still never one to shirk a challenge, Eddi tries the jet pack and finds he likes it a great deal. So much so that he jets off to see Groobie.

50. Waiting for Gordo

Planet Dave is extremely excited by the imminent arrival of his friend Comet Gordon. "Gordo and I go way back" he says proudly. Q Pootle 5 and his friends are also very excited to meet Comet Gordon for the first time and set about preparing a welcoming party. The friends all convene on Planet Dave, in time for Comet Gordon's passing, only for the comet to hurtle through at great speed.

49. Bud-D Gets a Rocket

Q Pootle 5 visits Groobie and on his arrival is treated to the delights of Groobie's new bell. Having forgotten what he came for, Pootle departs, only to hear Bud-D playing in his pretend spaceship in the yard (a dustbin). Bud-D is having a wonderful time, but when Pootle suggests that they build him a proper spaceship, Bud-D isn't so sure.

48. The Bubble Craters

February 12, 2014

Q Pootle 5 and Oopsy take a long trip to visit the legendary bubble craters. When they arrive they have great fun dipping their straws in the bubble pools and blowing enormous bubbles. The bubbles get bigger and bigger, until Oopsy blows a bubble so large that it envelopes Pootle's spaceship. There is a problem however.

47. It Came from Outer Space

February 11, 2014

When Pootle awakes to find a black obelisk outside his front door, he's confused. Where has it come from? What is it for? It's like something out of a movie. After much puzzling from Pootle, Oopsy, Stella and Eddi, including using it as a blackboard, slide and see-saw the friends give up.

46. Oopsy's Fairytale

February 10, 2014

Groobie is reading a fairy tale about a brave princess to Oopsy and Bud-D, only to discover that the last page is missing. Oopsy is extremely disappointed and resolves to find the missing page. Groobie isn't convinced she will find it, "it could've been eaten by Space Mice" he points out. But Oopsy is determined to find it.

45. Groobie's Day Out

When Groobie reveals his coach (his customized spaceship) everybody is very excited about his day out. However, the day does not go according to plan at each place they visit there seems to be a problem. Stella doesn't like the desert and all the sand, Oopsy finds the rocks of rocky canyon rather boring, Ray is allergic to the Medley Bells flowers and Eddi is hungry.

44. Runaway Rocket

January 9, 2014

Groobie is rather worn out from attempting to fit a new turbo booster to his spaceship and so when Bud-D suggests that he has a lie down, Groobie thinks this is an excellent idea. With Groobie gently dozing on the veranda, Bud-D takes it upon himself to fit the turbo booster with Groobie's gyrospanner - Groobie will be so pleased with him.

43. Bet-E

January 8, 2014

Bud-D is busy tidying in the yard when Groobie calls him - he is confused by a large crate that seems to be delivered by mistake. They open the crate and to Bud-D's delight it is another robot, a state-of-the-art Galacto 8000 Bet-E model.

42. Planet Dave in a Spin

January 7, 2014

A big twisty wind blows through Okidoki, upsetting Q Pootle 5's card game with Oopsy, blowing Ray of his seat and the washing off Groobie's washing line. Q Pootle 5 and Oopsy look through Pootle's telescope to see where the wind went, only to discover that Planet Dave's face has disappeared.

41. Maurice

January 6, 2014

When Q Pootle 5 and Oopsy visit Stella, she introduces them to her newfound friend Maurice. She discovered Maurice on a plant and she is very taken with him, much to Ray's annoyance. Pootle and Oopsy then leave to visit Groobie's where Eddi is struggling to make a kite, whilst they are helping Eddi, Stella radios through a distress call.

40. Pootle Phone Home

November 29, 2013

When Oopsy gets a telephone call from Q Pootle 5 she is very excited. She's never had a phone call before. Pootle says that he has called her, but she's always out, usually at this house. Oopsy is delighted and calls her friends. Groobie, terrified that it might be his Auntie Marjorie calling, isn't keen to talk on the phone.

39. Boing! Boing! Boing!

November 28, 2013

Q Pootle 5 and Oopsy visit Groobie for a smoothie, only to discover that his smoothie maker is broken again. Fortunately, Groobie has sent off for some spare parts, but when the boxes are opened, it turns out to be two pogo sticks. Groobie is very disappointed, but Pootle and Oopsy are delighted. They head off boinging across the whole of Okidoki, doing some incredible stunts as they go.

38. Beat Box Bud-D

November 27, 2013

When Groobie unveils his homemade jukebox, everybody is amazed and so the friends decide to hold a dance. After a few false starts, the jukebox jumps into life, but, thanks to Groobie's modifications it launches skywards like a rocket, crash landing amongst a pile of rocks (no roll). Groobie is forlorn, and it looks like the friends will have to go home.

37. The Cosmic Whipple

November 26, 2013

Everybody is very excited as it is the day of the Cosmic Whipple. The most beautiful light show in the galaxy. The friends decide to have a party and head off home to prepare some food. When they all arrive back at the shack, Oopsy is missing. She went to Bockety Moon to find some tasty lunar sticks, but her spaceship has broken down when she attempted to take off.

36. Pootle's New Spaceship

November 25, 2013

When Q Pootle 5's spaceship breaks down in space it dives towards Okidoki and crash lands in the desert. Back at his house a forlorn Pootle tells Oopsy that he is thinking of getting a new spaceship. Oopsy is shocked at the thought and tries to persude Pootle to think again. However, Pootle has decided and starts his quest for a new spaceship by trying out his friends spaceships.

35. Birthday Mix-Up

November 22, 2013

When Eddi visits Stella she tells him she is baking a cake for Ray's special day. Say no more says Eddi - he thinks it's Ray's birthday - but he's forgotten! Immediately he tells Groobie and Bud-D who didn't know it was Ray's birthday either. Eddi dashes off to find some presents for Ray, meanwhile Groobie writes a birthday song for Ray and sings it to Bud-D.

34. Strange Sounds in the Night

November 21, 2013

Bud-D is having problems sleeping. Rumbly grumbly noises are keeping him at wake at night, causing him to fall asleep when he is trying to work. Q Pootle 5 suggests that the friends have a camp out, to find out what this rumbly grumbly thing is. As the friends stargaze under a beautiful sky the rumbly grumbly noise begin - but it comes from a very familiar place.

33. Spaceship Hiccup

November 20, 2013

When Eddi puts some new oil in the engines of his spaceship it causes them to jolt, backfire and make very peculiar noises. Q Pootle 5 and his friends try to cure the spaceship of what is a very strange case of hiccups. They try rubbing its back, hanging upside down, even balancing something on its nose, but nothing seems to work. Inspiration strikes Pootle, maybe Planet Dave can help?

32. Groobie's Mighty Magnet

November 19, 2013

When Groobie's new magnet arrives (the Galacto 9000XL) he is very excited and he immediately sets off for Q Pootle 5's house to pick up an old rocket motor. However, Groobie hasn't realised that he accidentally switched the magnet on before setting off, and it is now picking up anything metal along the way - including Stella's watering can and Eddi's biphonium.

31. The Eight-Eyed Thingy from Galaxy 7

November 18, 2013

Q Pootle 5 and Oopsy are racing through space when they get an emergency call from Groobie asking for Q Pootle 5's help. He is convinced there is an Eight Eyed Thingy From Galaxy 7 in his store cupboard, it blinked at him, twice. When Q Pootle 5 and Oopsy arrive at the shack it is up to them to flush out the Thingy.

30. The Foggy Day

October 11, 2013

A thick fog has enveloped Okidoki and is causing problems. Eddi is lost, Pootle can't fly his spaceship and Bud-D can't see anything. Groobie sets up a light house and Stella's bagpipes are used to guide people to the shack.

29. A Friend for Ray

October 10, 2013

When Q Pootle 5 returns to Okidoki he brings with him his friend Roy. Roy is a major bird like Ray, but unlike Ray, Roy is polite, helpful, a good dancer and can play the piano too! Ray can't stand Roy's presence, and does everything he can to get rid of him. At bed time, Ray refuses to share his perch with Roy and angrily stumps off to sleep outside.

28. Flower Power

October 9, 2013

Stella returns from a trip in space with some special space seeds, and she gives one each to all her friends. Stella, is disappointed that her own seed only produces a small spindly stem, and similarly Pootle, Oopsy and Groobie don't fare much better. But, mysteriously, Eddi's plant is flourishing - he has been singing as he repairs his spaceship and the plants grow when they hear music!

27. The Singing Valley

October 8, 2013

Oopsy has discovered a wonderful valley that when you sing into it, the echoes bounce around making the most wonderful music. She returns to Okidoki to tell her friends all about it, but they are all too busy to listen. Desperate to share her discovery she tells Planet Dave and then returns to the Singing Valley.

26. Groobie's Space Wash

October 7, 2013

Groobie has refurbished an old Techno Wash 8000, a vintage spaceship washing machine. But his first customers, Stella and Ray, end up stuck inside the malfunctioning machine, and then Eddi gets stuck, trying to get them out. It's up to Q Pootle 5 to find a way to free Eddi. Once he's free, Groobie immediately has a new use for his spacewash, a fly-thru hair salon!

25. The Visitor from Space

October 4, 2013

Q Pootle 5 and his friends all find various bits of a machine that have dropped out of the sky. Q Pootle 5 realises that all the parts are from a satellite that has fallen from space. Pootle tries to assemble the satellite, but unfortunately one vital bit is missing - Bud-D has found it and is reluctant to give it back.

24. Rocking Not Rolling

October 3, 2013

When Oopsy crashes into an enormous boulder high on a ridge, it threatens to topple and crush Groobie's shack. Everyone has to keep as quiet as possible in case the noise makes it fall. Meanwhile Oopsy has problems of her own when her spaceship becomes jammed between to other rocks.

23. Pootle the Explorer

October 2, 2013

Q Pootle 5 and his friends set off on an expedition to find the elusive Okiorchid. Oopsy tags along with her sketch book. Whilst Pootle, Groobie, Stella, Eddi and Bud-D have a wonderful time trying to locate the rare flower, Oopsy not only finds it, but also draws a lovely picture of it. When Oopsy shows her friends where she discovered it, the flowers aren't there.

22. Oopsy's Megaphone

October 1, 2013

When Oopsy discovers a megaphone in Groobie's yard she is delighted. She loves bellowing into it - but her friends, aren't so keen on the megaphone. Q Pootle 5 has a gentle word with Oopsy and suggests that perhaps she should play with the megaphone where nobody is around. A rather downcast Oopsy heads into space tree forest to play on her own. But then she discovers Ray stuck up a tree.

21. The Flying Display

September 30, 2013

It's the day of the flying display and everybody is doing very well, except poor Stella. She's worried about Ray (he's got a minor cold and won't go to sleep) and it's affecting her concentration. Q Pootle 5 has the brilliant idea of asking Bud-D to look after Ray so Stella can enjoy her flying. But Bud-D isn't quite sure how to get Ray to sleep.

20. Oopsy's Backwards Day

September 27, 2013

Q Pootle 5 is very amused by his friend Oopsy and her backwards antics. He joins in and walks over to Groobie's shack where he discovers Bud-D and Groobie in the middle of making a movie. Soon everybody wants to get in on Bud-D's masterpiece, but Pootle notices that Oopsy has disappeared. Pootle searches for her, and finds that her backwards antics had lead her into a crater.

19. The Biggest Picture Ever

It's the the Okidoki art day and Q Pootle 5 and his friends are busy making their creations. When they take them to show Planet Dave he loves them, but he's also a sad, because he's never been able to join in. Q Pootle 5 has the ingenious idea of the friends helping Planet Dave draw an enormous picture.

18. Hitting the High Note

September 25, 2013

When Q Pootle 5 and his friends play Groobie's new Shooting Star Symphony, Stella really struggles to hit the high notes on her bagpipes. When the orchestra take a break she plugs her bagpipes into the hose of Groobie's vacuum cleaner. When Stella floats away, it's up to Pootle and a very brave Ray to rescue her.

17. Phew! What a Scorcher

Q Pootle 5 wakes up to a boiling hot Okidoki. He soon discovers the reason - Planet Dave isn't very well and has a nasty case of sunspots. Pootle and Groobie try all sorts of things to cool Planet Dave down, but in the end it's down to Bud-D and his ice making ability to cool Planet Dave down.

16. Asteroid Alert

September 23, 2013

When Oopsy sees a comet hurtling dangerously towards Okidoki, she gets everyone to evacuate to Planet Dave. Q Pootle 5 has a plan to stop the asteroid, but it turns out not to be as big as Oopsy thought it was. But, it could still mess up Stella's moon marrows, so a tennis net, baseball mit and some long johns are brought in to save the day.

15. Two Places at Once

Q Pootle 5 has agreed to help Eddi construct his new telescope, but has also promised to help Oopsy bake some cakes. Not wanting to let either of his friends down Q Pootle 5 attempts to help them both, rushing from one place to another and not managing either job very successfully!

14. Map Muddle

August 15, 2013

When Q Pootle 5 and Oopsy find a map in a bottle they are convinced that the red spot on the map marks the place where treasure is hidden. After a long hunt the duo don't find treasure, but are delighted when their digging unleashes a geyser of delicious jam!

13. A Day with Ray

August 14, 2013

While Stella is away for the day she leaves Ray with Q Pootle 5 and Oopsy to keep him company. The enthusiastic duo lay on a whole range of exciting (but exhausting) activities, but pretty soon Ray has had enough of all this exertion. When the opportunity to play hide and seek presents itself Ray disappears. Pootle and Oopsy search the whole of Okidoki, but they can't find Ray.

12. Rocket Bird Oopsy

Oopsy wishes she could fly, and when Q Pootle 5 lends her his rocket boots her dreams come true. 'Rocket Bird Oopsy' takes to the skies, but her stunts become increasingly ambitious until the rocket boots go out of control and Pootle has to come to her rescue.

11. Groobie to the Rescue

August 12, 2013

When Groobie has an accident in his spaceship on Planet Dave, he loses his confidence and refuses to fly anymore. The ever-faithful Bud-D takes over the delivery of parcels, but gets in a muddle and everybody ends up with the wrong things. Q Pootle 5 has the idea to stage a rescue (in which Oopsy is 'stranded' in deep space) and only because his spaceship is broken only Groobie can rescue her.

10. Sports Day

August 9, 2013

Everyone is having fun at the sports day - except Eddi. Having two heads has its drawbacks when attempting to skip and limbo dance. Depressed at his lack of success Eddi slopes off and nobody can find him. Pootle and Oopsy find him and show him that he actually can be good at the games!

9. Oopsy's New Do

August 8, 2013

Pootle helps Stella with a spot of gardening and to speed things up they use Stella's Galacto Planter 2000. Meanwhile Oopsy has a new hairstyle, which makes Dave wish that he, too, could have a new look. Using the Galacto Planter 2000 Pootle gives Dave the makeover of the millennium.

8. Eddi's Hat

August 7, 2013

Groobie's having a hat party and Eddi is the only one without a hat to wear. It's difficult to find a two-headed hat that's suitable - until some wobbly fruit accidentally lands on Eddi's head and saves the day.

7. Where's Ray?

August 6, 2013

After Q Pootle 5 and Oopsy fail to crack open a delicious astronaut, the large nut mysteriously disappears during the night. As Pootle and Oopsy go off on an astronaut hunt they discover other people's things have gone missing - and Ray! The mystery is solved when they find Ray, in a makeshift nest, attempting to hatch the missing astronaut.

6. Officer Bud-D

August 5, 2013

Groobie takes a well-earned day off and leaves Bud-D in charge of the shack. But when the enthusiastic robot flamboyantly attempts to mix an Astro Fizzbuzz for Q Pootle 5 he gets splashed with fizzbuzz juice, causing his circuits to malfunction and turning him into a very bossy robot indeed! It's up to Pootle to find a way to fix Bud-D.

5. The Picture Puzzle

August 2, 2013

Q Pootle 5 visits Oopsy to show her his camera. When Oopsy takes some photographs, a mysterious smiling face that appears on every photo puzzles them. Everybody searches for the shy stranger only to discover that it's a smiley face painted on Oopsy's finger!

4. Pootle's House Guest

August 1, 2013

Whilst Oopsy decorates Stella's house, Stella and Ray stay at Q Pootle 5's house. Oopsy's decorating doesn't go quite to plan, whilst Pootle finds sharing a house with Stella and Ray rather uncomfortable. The solution to both problems is for Pootle to enlist all his friends to come and help get the painting done quickly.

3. Groobie Woogie on Planet Dave

Groobie will be performing his piano concert on Okidoki, but Planet Dave is disappointed that he won't be able to see it. Q Pootle 5 decides that if they can't bring Dave to the concert then they'll bring the concert to Planet Dave!

2. The Evenfruit Picnic

Q Pootle 5 and Oopsy travel in search of evenfruit for the picnic they are having with the shooting star show. When they arrive, Stella is there too, trying to get some evenfruit seeds. But nobody knows how to get the fruit down from the tall evenfruit tree. Unexpectedly, they discover the only time for gathering evenfruit is in the evening!

1. The Great Space Race

It's the day of The Great Space Race and Oopsy and Q Pootle 5 are both determined to win. But when Oopsy's spaceship develops a leaky booster, she has to make an emergency landing on crumbly moon. Pootle sacrifices his own position in the race to rescue Oopsy and helps his friend win the race.
