In Robotomy season 1 episode 3, titled "No Child Left Benign," we see the two main characters, Thrasher and Blastus, close to being held back a grade due to their poor grades. However, this is not a concern for them as they believe that they will pass through their finals using their robotic skills.

While preparing for their finals, Thrasher and Blastus discover that a rival student, Benign, has gotten a perfect score on his tests. This success prompts Benign to brag about his grades, boasting that he will probably be inducted into the Hall of Honor -- an achievement that comes with a lifetime supply of robot oil.

The news of Benign's perfect score, along with his boasting, sparks a rivalry between the three students, causing Thrasher and Blastus to become obsessed with improving their scores. They seek help from McSlade, the school's gym coach, who gives them an illegal performance-enhancing drug called "Roidilox."

With the help of the drug, Thrasher and Blastus begin to excel at their school work, answering questions faster and becoming incredibly accurate with their robotic abilities. Their newfound success makes them begin to feel invincible, causing them to abuse the power that the drug provided them with.

As the finals approach, the competition between Benign, Thrasher, and Blastus continues to escalate. The tension between the three students hits a fever pitch as they step into their final exam, which is a test of their robotic combat skills.

During the final exam, however, Thrasher and Blastus begin to experience negative side effects from the Roidilox. Their robotic abilities begin to glitch, and they start to act erratically, ultimately causing a dangerous situation in the exam room.

In the end, the episode ends with our protagonists learning an important lesson. They learn that their robotic abilities are only part of their identity, and they don't need to rely on performance-enhancing drugs to be successful. In the end, they all pass their exams: some with perfect scores, some with acceptable scores, but ultimately, they pass as themselves.

"No Child Left Benign" is a fun and energetic episode that captures the quirky charm of Robotomy. It's a cautionary tale about the danger of chasing success at any cost and an exploration of the complex relationships between friends and rivals. The episode is enjoyable for viewers of all ages and stands out as one of the best episodes of the first season.
