Ep 1. Toppled

In Seis Manos season 1 episode 1 titled "Toppled," we are introduced to three orphaned Chinese-Kung Fu siblings who are raised by their Japanese mentor Chiu. Located in Mexico, the siblings - Isabella, Jesus and Silencio - live in a small town called San Simon. Chiu constantly trains them in the art of Kung Fu, knowing that one day they'll be prepared to fight against their enemies.

The episode starts with Jesus about to attend his first day of work at a local bar. Isabella isn't fond of the idea, as she believes they can handle the work at the bar themselves. Silencio, the youngest and most quiet of the siblings, supports Isabella's decision. Soon after, a new gang led by El Balde, rolls into town to take over the bar business. Chiu and the siblings figure out that something isn't right with the new group, and start to keep a watchful eye on them.

Later that night, two federal agents enter the bar, and Jesus immediately recognizes them as fellow Kung Fu practitioners. They explain that they're looking for someone who is of interest to them - a man who has disappeared, but could lead to the detention of a major drug lord. The agents believe that the man is in San Simon. Jesus agrees to help the agents, and they start to work on tracking down the man.

Meanwhile, the new gang seems to have more sinister intentions than just taking over the bar. They've been abducting young girls from the town, and Isabella is suspicious. She starts to investigate covertly, which leads to her getting in trouble with the leader of the gang. She ends up in a dangerous situation, but is rescued by her siblings.

As the siblings investigate further about the new gang and their intentions, they discover that not everything is as it seems. The leader of the gang, El Balde, is a follower of an ancient deity that indulges in rituals sacrificing human lives. The siblings and Chiu are determined to find a way to stop the dangerous cult and the murders they've been committing in San Simon.

Throughout the episode, there are scenes of amazing martial arts and fight sequences that make for an exciting action-packed hour. The story line is fast-paced and engaging, leaving the audience wanting to know more about the siblings and Chiu's past, and how they came to be in San Simon. Seis Manos is a combination of different culture's mythologies, with plenty of brutal violence and gory scenes that build up the suspense and intrigue for the rest of the season.
