Ep 8. No Weenies Allowed

In the episode "No Weenies Allowed" of SpongeBob SquarePants 10 Happiest Moments season 1 episode 8, SpongeBob and Sandy are in Goo Lagoon and they decide to go to a popular hangout spot for tough guys called "The Salty Spitoon". However, when they arrive, the bouncer, Reg, tells SpongeBob that he is too weak to enter and must prove himself in a fight. Sandy enters with ease, leaving SpongeBob alone to prove himself. SpongeBob accepts the challenge and asks for a glass of water as his weapon.

He proceeds to fight and "defeat" an opponent by accidentally spilling the glass of water on him, leading him to be welcomed into The Salty Spitoon. However, SpongeBob soon realizes that he doesn't fit in with the tough crowd and misses his regular life. He tries to leave The Salty Spitoon but is challenged by a giant fish. SpongeBob sticks to his values and refuses to fight, causing the other tough guys to laugh at him and goad him into fighting. Finally, Sandy shows up and, in a dramatic and comical sequence of events, takes down the giant fish, saving SpongeBob.

SpongeBob and Sandy leave The Salty Spitoon and go back to their regular lives, appreciating their own strengths and values. This episode deals with themes of toxic masculinity and peer pressure, while ultimately promoting staying true to oneself. It is a fan-favorite episode and one of the highlights of season 1.
