Ep 9. On the Road - Square Body

On this episode of Stacey David's Gearz, Stacey takes to the road in a square body Chevy truck. Beginning with some basic maintenance, Stacey checks the brakes, suspension, and engine performance to make sure this classic truck is roadworthy. After addressing some minor issues under the hood, Stacey takes the truck to see how it handles on the open road.

With the truck performing well, Stacey heads to a local event to meet up with fellow gearheads and show off the truck. While at the event, Stacey talks with other enthusiasts about their own projects and finds some inspiration for future episodes of the show.

Back in the shop, Stacey begins to add some custom touches to the truck, starting with a new exhaust system. After removing the old exhaust and mocking up the new system, Stacey welds it in place for a perfect fit and improved performance.

Next, Stacey turns his attention to the interior, adding a custom dash, new gauges, and a modern stereo system. With the dash in place, Stacey takes the truck for another test drive to make sure everything is working as it should.

Returning to the shop, Stacey begins to tackle the biggest job of the episode – a complete overhaul of the truck's suspension. With the truck on a lift, Stacey removes the old suspension and installs a new, modern system that will provide better handling and a smoother ride.

With the suspension upgrade complete, Stacey takes the truck out for a final test drive to see just how much the upgrades have improved the truck's performance. With improved handling, a better ride, and a more custom look, this square body Chevy truck is ready to hit the road in style.
