Ep 1. The Recruit

The first episode of Star Wars Resistance season 1 is named The Recruit. The story takes place in a galaxy far, far away, at a time when the evil First Order is rising to power. A young man named Kazuda Xiono comes to the planet Castilon and takes a job as a mechanic at a repair shop. However, Kaz has another mission: he's been recruited by the Resistance to find out what the First Order is up to.

Kaz is a talented pilot and spy, but he's inexperienced in the ways of espionage. He's eager to prove himself to his superiors and make a difference in the fight against the First Order. To that end, he quickly befriends some of the locals and begins to gather intel on the enemy's activities.

One of Kaz's new friends is a fellow mechanic named Tam Ryvora. Tam is skilled and tough, but she's also wary of outsiders. She's not sure she trusts Kaz, especially when he starts asking questions about the First Order. Nevertheless, Kaz manages to win her over and the two become close.

Another member of Kaz's circle is Neeku Vozo, a friendly and somewhat naïve alien who works at the repair shop with Kaz. Neeku is fascinated by Kaz's stories of the Resistance and is eager to help him in any way he can. Kaz is grateful for Neeku's enthusiasm, but he also worries that the alien might accidentally reveal his secrets to the wrong people.

Kaz's mission takes a dramatic turn when he witnesses a First Order attack on a group of innocent civilians. He manages to save one of the survivors, a young girl named Flix, and brings her back to the repair shop. Flix is traumatized by what she's seen and is understandably wary of Kaz at first. However, she soon warms up to him and becomes an important ally.

Meanwhile, Kaz's superiors in the Resistance are keeping a close eye on him. He's been assigned a handler named Poe Dameron, who contacts him via hologram from time to time to check on his progress. Poe is impressed by Kaz's skills as a pilot, but he's also concerned that Kaz might be in over his head.

As the episode draws to a close, Kaz begins to piece together some alarming information about the First Order's plans. He realizes that they're building a massive weapon, the likes of which the galaxy has never seen before. With the help of his friends, Kaz hatches a plan to infiltrate the First Order's base and gather more intel.

The Recruit is an action-packed first episode that sets the stage for an epic adventure. It introduces a colorful cast of characters, including a hero who's still learning the ropes, and a villainous organization that's more dangerous than ever. Fans of Star Wars will find plenty to enjoy in this new chapter of the saga.
