Ep 3. Rip City Dicks

A no-nonsense private investigator named Dex Parios is at the center of the action-packed new drama series, Stumptown. Based on the graphic novel series of the same name, the show follows Dex as she takes on cases in Portland, Oregon, all while dealing with her own personal demons and complicated relationships. In episode 3, titled "Rip City Dicks," Dex is hired by a group of former bowling teammates to investigate a conspiracy involving their old bowling alley.

One of the men is a well-dressed guy named Artie Banks, who we learn is the owner of Bowlmor. Another man, who we later find out is named Ray, is the head of security for the bowling alley. Artie is furious about the footage, because it shows that Ray and his guys didn't do enough to protect Benny from the beating. Artie is worried that this will lead to trouble for him, and he orders Ray to find out who was responsible for the attack.

Dex starts her investigation by visiting Bowlmor and posing as a potential new employee. She meets Ray, who is immediately suspicious of her, but she manages to convince him that she's just trying to get a job. While at the alley, she also reconnects with some old friends from her own bowling league days, including a guy named Gary and a woman named Trudy. They tell her about some strange things that were happening at Bowlmor, like unexplained power outages and closed-off areas of the building that were off-limits to employees.

Dex also meets with Benny, who is still recovering from his beating. Benny tells her that he was fired from Bowlmor when he started asking too many questions about the strange things going on there. He also reveals that he had been keeping a file on Artie and his dealings, which he thinks might have been the reason he was attacked.

As Dex continues her investigation, she starts to uncover a web of corruption and intimidation involving Artie and his associates. She gets some help from Lieutenant Cosgrove, a police detective who seems to have a bit of a history with Dex. They work together to gather evidence against Artie, but they hit some roadblocks when Artie catches wind of their investigation and starts putting pressure on everyone involved.

"Rip City Dicks" is a fast-paced, exciting episode that keeps the viewer on the edge of their seat. The investigation leads Dex and her allies into some dangerous situations, and there are some surprising twists and turns along the way. The show's strong performances and well-crafted plot make it a must-watch for anyone who loves a good mystery or thriller.
