The Michael J. Fox show is a new prime time family oriented comedy starring himself that is inspired on his own life. His character Mike Henry, is a quirky dad of three, a college drop out, a teenage girl, and an elementary school boy. Henry just returned to work as a New York news anchor after taking some time off shortly after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He struggles with people's reaction to him and hopes to make his transition back on seamless.The network however, has other plans for this former big shot.

Henry attempts to keep up with his family and career in spite of his disabilities. In addition to his ailment he deals with the normal situations any father and husband may encounter on a daily basis.

NBC Pulls 'Michael J Fox Show,' Puts 'Hollywood Game Night' in Its Place

NBC continues to clean house as, just days after it announced the cancellation of "Sean Saves the World," the network pulled "The Michael J. Fox Show" from its schedule. The loss of the two sitcoms leaves a big hole in NBC's Thursday-night line up. Fox's show hasn't officially been cancelled, but with seven of its first 22 episodes yet to air, the series leaves the schedule and goes into limbo.
