Ep 5. Episode 5

The Moodys season 1 episode 5, titled "Episode 5," begins with Sean and Ann gathering for a family meeting with their adult children, Dan, Bridget, and their friend Cora. The meeting is organized to discuss their family's financial troubles and how they can work together to get out of debt. As the meeting progresses, tensions begin to rise as old family dynamics threaten to derail any progress that can be made.

Meanwhile, Dan struggles to find a job, causing him to feel like a failure in front of his family. In order to make himself feel better, Dan begins to drink heavily and makes poor decisions. Bridget, who is also struggling in her career, tries to support her brother but is met with resistance.

As the family comes together for dinner, tensions escalate even further as past transgressions are brought to the surface. Ann tries to take control of the situation, but her husband Sean doesn't back her up, causing even more conflict. Eventually, the family gets into a heated argument and Sean storms out of the house.

The next day, Ann tries to make amends with her husband and the rest of the family. She organizes a family outing to a charity event, hoping to bring everyone together and mend their relationships. The outing is successful and the family begins to open up and share their feelings with one another.

Towards the end of the episode, Cora reveals a secret that could potentially change the family dynamic forever. The Moodys season 1 episode 5 ends with the family in a state of shock, unsure of how to move forward.
