Dr. Oakley is back again with her thrilling adventures and wildlife rescues in the show Wilderness Vet. In season 2 episode 19 titled "Quality Time," Dr. Oakley sets out to help a couple prepare their pets for the upcoming hunting season in Alaska.

The episode begins with Dr. Oakley meeting the couple, Joe and Lisa, at their remote cabin in Alaska. The couple is heading out for a hunting trip soon and wants to make sure their pets are ready for the harsh wilderness environment. They have two dogs, a black Labrador named Harley and a Pointer named Zeus. Both dogs have not been trained or socialized properly, making it difficult for the couple to control them in the field. Furthermore, Harley has a bad habit of biting, and Zeus has an eye infection that needs immediate attention.

Dr. Oakley steps in to help the couple, and the episode follows her incredible journey as she works with the dogs. Her first priority is to treat Zeus' eye infection. She examines the dog and prescribes medication for the infection. Dr. Oakley teaches the couple how to apply the eye drops correctly and ensure Zeus gets adequate rest. The treatment works, and Zeus starts feeling better, allowing Dr. Oakley to train him for hunting.

The second dog, Harley, presents a more significant challenge. He has a history of biting, and the couple is afraid that he might attack someone in the field. Dr. Oakley examines Harley and confirms that he is a passive dog, but his biting tendency stems from anxiety and fear. She works with the couple, teaching them positive reinforcement techniques to help Harley overcome his fear. Dr. Oakley also manages to train Harley for hunting, giving the couple a new lease of hope.

With training complete, Dr. Oakley accompanies the couple on their hunting trip. However, things take a turn for the worse when the couple's boat capsizes in high waves. Dr. Oakley demonstrates her expertise in rescuing animals as she saves the two dogs from the capsized boat. After the rescue, she examines the dogs and discovers that they are unharmed. She recommends that the couple take a break from the hunting trip and reunite with the dogs at their cabin.

The episode concludes with the couple returning to their cabin and enjoying a warm, cozy evening with their pets. With the new training provided by Dr. Oakley, the couple can now take their dogs out into the field with confidence, knowing that they are adequately trained and socialized.

Overall, "Quality Time" is an action-packed episode that showcases Dr. Oakley's remarkable skills as a veterinarian and a rescuer. The episode offers a glimpse into the challenges of training and socializing dogs in the remote wilderness. The episode also highlights the strong bond between pets and their owners as the couple reunites with their pets after a harrowing experience.
