Remote Control War (2012) is a Canadian documentary examining the technology advances changing the face of war. Drones and robots are being rapidly developed to combat the enemy. Billions of war dollars are being budgeted in the military to fund robotics research. Weaponized drones are used to assassinate and conduct surveillance. Robotic tanks are deployed to fight the enemy, with no humans endangered within the tank - the human tank controller can be miles away. These factors lower the probability of human casualties, so a military can be more aggressive, without concerns of the costs to their own forces.
