Watch Philadelphia Eagles

Founded:Established 1933
Stadium Name:Lincoln Financial Field

Fresh off a better-than-expected season, the Philadelphia Eagles are looking forward to keeping the good times rolling. During the offseason, the team picked up a few good players and one great player in RB DeMarco Murray, last year's leading NFL rusher.

Head coach Chip Kelly, who took over in 2013, has guided the Eagles to a 10-6 record in each of his first two seasons. The year prior to his arrival, the Eagles went a woeful 4-12. Despite the fact that the team made the playoffs his first year, Kelly's second year was considered the more impressive one due to a difficult schedule and multiple injuries plaguing the team. It is worth noting that in Kelly's two seasons with Philadelphia, his teams have scored more points than any other team in Eagle franchise history.

In January 2015, Kelly was named general manager as well head coach. Only two other NFL head coaches have been given that level of authority: New England's Bill Belichick and Seattle's Pete Carroll.

Pro bowler ILB DeMeko Ryans, nicknamed Mafusa or the Lion King, will be returning to bolster the defense. Last year, after he went down midseason with his second career torn Achilles, Ryans could only watch as the Eagle's defense struggled.

Former number one pick, Sam Bradford, is the new starting quarterback. He takes over for the departed Nick Foles. In Bradford's first three years in the NFL, playing for the St. Louis Rams, he was both productive and consistent. In 2013, however, he tore his left ACL and then tore it again in 2014. If Bradford is anything close to his former self and RB Murray tears it up as expected, the Eagles will be the ticket to buy in 2015.
