'Community' and 'LOST' Collide: Josh Holloway to Guest Star in Paintball Finale

PR Photos If you're a fan of NBC's fantastic comedy "Community" and also a nerd, then there's a good chance your favorite episode was the season one episode "Modern Warfare." Why? The episode had the gang fighting the entire campus in a paintball tournament, the winner of which would receive priority registration. It had paintball action, Terminator references, and a title that nods to the "Call of Duty" video game of the same name.

So, let's assume you're a nerd. You probably also like "Lost" too, right? Actually, judging by its numbers I'd say most people, nerdly or not, loved ABC's cryptic sci-fi series. So most people should be happy to hear that Josh Holloway, a.k.a. Sawyer, will be guest-starring in the two-part (yes, two-part!) season finale of "Community."

The episode will reportedly bring back the paintball competition, though whether or not priority registration is the prize this year is yet to be seen...judging by last year's debacle, it will probably just be a Blu-Ray player. Holloway will star as a "mysterious figure" who participates in the game. So far, that's all we know. But then again, thanks to "Lost", we're used to not knowing much when it comes to Josh Holloway.

The male "Community" fanboys will be happy to see the return of the paintball game, which brought one of the best "Community" episodes of season one, if not the entire series thus far. Female "Community" fangirls will be happy to see Holloway, for obvious reasons.

Seeing as we're still only on episode 17, it will still be a number of weeks until Holloway shows up and paintball is back. The real question is, will it be revealed that Greendale is really a strange limbo so that Jeff, Britta, and the gang can remember their time on the Island?
