'The Situation' Storms Off the Set of 'Jersey Shore': Is He Pulling a Vinny and Leaving the Show?

'The Situation' Storms Off the Set of 'Jersey Shore': Is He Pulling a Vinny and Leaving the Show? It sounds like "Jersey Shore" is having a Situation situation. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino reportedly stormed out of the "Jersey Shore" house yesterday without the camera crew following, and though the reason for his frustration isn't known, sources say he seemed pretty upset.

Sources also report that Sitch has been considering taking time off from the "Shore" for a while now, so the blowup at the house must have been the last straw.

"Jersey Shore" is having trouble hanging on to its cast members: Vinny recently disappeared from the house as well, citing homesickness, and went back to Staten Island to visit his family. Sammi left last season, but returned later.

The high level of tension and the mass exodus that seems to be happening now may be due to the fact that the castmates have been filming for months straight. The crew traveled to Italy to shoot season four, then immediately returned back to Seaside to shoot season five.

Granted, all these guys are doing is partying (and getting paid over $100,000 an episode to do it) but even that can take its toll. Even the hardest of partiers might burn out after four months straight of it, trying to be interesting and energetic for a TV crew.

For now, Sitch has returned to the house, but he might still be considering leaving. In any case, it's looking more and more like this will in fact be the last season for this cast whether MTV decides to recast them or not...Vinny and Sitch might leave of their own accord.
