Feisty Dresden Dolls frontwoman Amanda Palmer and her newly anointed Grand Theft Orchestra hit London in October to christen their new album "Theatre Is Evil" - and we were there to film it exclusively.
Sadly, moments before Amanda hit the stage, she was told one of her close friends had passed away (she writes about the moment here in her blog). Instead of pulling the show, she channelled her emotions into a cathartic, mesmerising performance for her adoring fans. "If anything, taking that bad news on stage with me really vitalised me," Amanda told us. "It infused me with an energy that I've never really felt before."
With crazy crowd surfing, exotic costumes and special guests including Scroobius Pip, her husband Neil Gaiman and many more, the show's a spontaneous pantomime of punked-up absurdity, but more importantly it's bloody good fun.
