Although we don't know the date of the composition of the Concerto No. 2 in B flat Major Op.19 or when it was premiered (1789?), we do know at least one thin, Beethoven didn't like it. "A concerto which I do not consider as one of my best works." However, it was unanimously acclaimed by the public.
