In the action thriller Daughter Of The Wolf, a military special ops soldier returns to her hometown after the death of her father. The bad situation gets even worse when her son is kidnapped, forcing her to track down the bad guys in the wilderness and rescue the boy. Clair is a military veteran who knows her way around a weapon or two. When her son is kidnapped, she takes on the challenge of getting him back. Her first plan is to simply give the kidnappers the ransom they're demanding. She travels into the wilderness to make the exchange. But the transaction goes badly, and the violent chase is on the free the boy.

Clair fights her way through the snowy wilderness. She takes on the gang of kidnappers with a variety of weapons, including guns and a hatchet. They fight back with a variety of weapons of their own.

Along with the criminals, Clair faces deadly threats from the harsh environment. However, she gets help from one of the kidnappers who turns out to be not such a bad guy. She also gets help from wolves, who seem to like her and hate the kidnappers.

The film stars former mixed martial arts fighter Gina Carano. Carano's acting career received a boost when she starred in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. The success of that series brought new attention to Daughter Of The Wolf.
