Television star Michael Gross hosts this program which gives the history of the Daylight from 1937 to 1971. The program features interviews with people who operated, and managed this Southern Pacific train for 34 years. Climb aboard the daylight and take a ride through some of California's most spectacular scenery. Ride through deep canyons, traverse a horseshoe curve, or travel along the pacific ocean for 113 miles. There was no other rail journey in America that matched the daylight route.
