The movie DEE from 2017 is an independent, low-budget sci-fi thriller from Canada. Dee seems to be the only person who is struggling to come to terms with this reality that they all seem to have accepted. Dee is portrayed by Vanessa Przada, who delivers a strong performance as a woman determined to uncover the truth about her past. She's confident and resourceful, but also vulnerable and sympathetic. Alex Judd plays Simon, a sympathetic character who helps Dee navigate the strange new world she finds herself in. The other actors, Anyka Belanger and Casey Belanger, portray two of the other 'amnesiacs' in the facility, and they do a great job of conveying a sense of confusion and suspicion about their surroundings.
