The movie Ealing Comedy features a man by the name of Alfie Singh who has changed his profession from accountant to film producer. He has created a great idea for a new film about himself, where an accountant turns into a film producer. He picks the name Ealing Comedy and decides to play himself in the movie. Unfortunately, Alfie is rejected by every financing company he turns to and decides he will just create the film on his own. His relationship with his wife and son, as well as his financial well being are all put into jeopardy through a series of events he encounters during his goal to create this film.
