Garden Travels: Kauai Rainforest and Fragrant Lilacs is a documentary about some of the world's most beautiful gardens. It's seperated into two separate segments. Dave, the host, spends each segment looking at a particularly lush landscape. In the first, Dave heads out to the Kauai rainforest. He emulates the normal type of vacation which an eco-tourist might experience. While doing so he demonstrates how to find some of the most luscious spots within the forests. Next, Dave travels back to California to visit the Descanso Gardens. Dave pays careful attention to the lilacs within the garden, and in particular the wonderful scents which they emit.
