The film deals with politics. How politics can influence the outcome of an election and the many people affected as a result. It's set in 2006, about how the Democratic Party took the U.S. House of Representatives from Republican control. It's a behind the scenes account of how Rahm Emanuel, the then Democratic Congressional Campaign chairman at the time, devised plans and strategies that resulted in victory. The victory served as a setup for the eventual victory of Barack Obama's takeover of the White House in 2008. This movie shows how any group of individuals, when committed towards a common purpose, shouldn't rest on their laurels.
