“How to Frame a Figg” is the 1971 production that tells the story of Hollis Alexander Figg, played by Don Knotts. Hollis Figg is an honest, hard-working man who accepts a job working as an accountant for his town's City Hall. While Figg is a wonderful, honest man, he is not overly bright. In fact, he is far from it. The town's greedy mayor, along with his staff use this trait that Figg possesses to his ultimate disadvantage. They pretend to give Hollis a position of prominence in the town involving the overseeing of a computer and his private office space.

However, throughout the whole time, Figg is being framed by the mayor and his staff in hopes of their procuring large amounts of money illegally. It seems like all hope is lost for Hollis! Will he be able to prove his innocence and restore his position of prominence in his town?
