Over a thousand years ago, a disgruntled Viking gave this country its cold sounding name. But there's an old saying that Iceland is not a land of ice--the friendliness of the people has melted much of it away. In fact, only 12% of the ocuntry is covered in Ice and the average winter temperature in Reykjavik is warmer than New York City!
However, we will journey atop Europe's largest glacier, and float among ice sculptures in a spectacular lagoon.
