A small town is put to the test when a meteorite crashes on Earth causing an Icetastrophe. The meteorite sends shards of ice and debris hurling towards the town of Alpine Valley, causing power outages and putting the town in extreme danger. As the townspeople struggle to survive the harsh winter storm conditions, they begin to realize that the meteorite has a sinister nature and is, in fact, part of a larger conspiracy.
The film follows the story of Jack, played by Victor Webster, an experienced emergency responder who is called to the town of Alpine Valley to help with the aftermath of the Icetastrophe. Jack is accompanied by his friend and colleague, Monica, played by Jennifer Spence. The two work tirelessly to help the town secure critical resources such as food, water, and shelter, as the townspeople race to find a way to stop the deadly meteorite.
Richard Harmon plays the young and ambitious town mayor, who struggles to keep order and keep his community safe in the face of overwhelming danger. Tiera Skovbye and Ben Cotton play two young lovers who are torn apart by the Icetastrophe and must find their way back to each other while trying to survive the deadly storm conditions.
As the townspeople work to confront the looming threat, they begin to unravel a larger conspiracy. It becomes clear that the meteorite was not a random event but a carefully orchestrated attack meant to wipe out the town and its people.
