Watch Jerash & Ajloun Castle

This historical and cultural travel documentary film was released in 2011. The film is about two famous historical sites in the northern part of the country of Jordan located in the Middle East. Jerash also known as Gerasa is an ancient Roman city that has survived the passage of thousands of years of war, conquest and natural disasters. It is one of the best preserved and was one of the most important roman cities in the Middle East. Stadiums, theaters, bathhouses, temples and ancient roman architecture can be seen today in Jerash. Ajloun Castle lies to the West of Jerash and sits atop a hill. It was built to guard passes to the Jordan Valley and is one of the best preserved examples of medieval Arab military architecture.
