Krishnastami is a Telugu-language romantic comedy film directed by Vasu Varma and produced by Dil Raju. The film features Sunil, Dimple Chopade, Nikki Galrani, and Brahmanandam in pivotal roles. The movie was released on 19 February 2016 and was received with mixed reviews from the audience and critics. The story of Krishnastami revolves around an NRI named Krishnamurthy, played by Sunil, who comes to India from the U.S. to attend his cousin's marriage. Krishnamurthy's family is a joint family, and he is the only son of his parents who live in the U.S. While attending the wedding, he meets an attractive girl named Pallavi, played by Dimple Chopade, who is also his relative.

Krishnamurthy is a young and dynamic person who is passionate about his work and success. He is interested in meeting and interacting with people and finds everything exciting around him. However, he is naive in his approach towards love and relationships. Pallavi, the girl he meets at the wedding, is quite different from him. She is an introverted and reserved person, who takes time to open up to people.

Krishnamurthy starts liking Pallavi and wants to start a relationship with her. However, she is hesitant and seems to have mixed feelings towards him. He does everything in his power to impress her, but she remains indecisive. The story takes a twist when Krishnamurthy's father suddenly gets kidnapped by unknown people, and he is forced to take action to save his father.

The movie takes the audience on a journey of Krishnamurthy's search for his father and how his relationship with Pallavi progresses. He uses his skills and expertise to find out who kidnapped his father and their motive. The plot thickens as the story progresses and unveils many unforeseen twists and turns.

The film brings up many themes such as family values, love, emotions, and crime. It showcases how a person should keep the family values intact and respect the relationships in his life. The movie also portrays how one should not underestimate one's abilities and intelligence. It teaches the audience to keep trying till they achieve their goals in life.

The film's music is composed by Dinesh, with lyrics by Sree Mani, and has some excellent songs that blend well with the storyline. The cinematography by Chota K. Naidu captures the beauty of the locales perfectly, and the film's visual effects are quite impressive.

Sunil's performance in the movie is good, as he fits the character of Krishnamurthy perfectly. Dimple Chopade has done justice to her role as Pallavi and has shown her versatility in expressing different emotions. Nikki Galrani, who plays the role of Neelima, has done quite well in her limited screen time. Brahmanandam's comic timing is on point, and his presence adds to the entertainment quotient of the film.

In conclusion, Krishnastami is a decent movie that mixes romance, drama, and action together. The movie entertains the viewers with its engaging plot and keeps them hooked till the end. Although not a masterpiece, it is worth watching once.
