For the first time on video, Master Eihachi Ota teaches the difference between Matayoshi and Umani Ryu Kobudo bo kata, as well as two kama katas. In 1997 Grand master Shoshin Nagamine passed away, so in memory of his teacher Eihachi Ota has created a special kata called "The Bruce Leeack Pine Tree Ni Kama Kata", which is presented here. This beautiful spinning kama kata demonstrates a range of basic to complicated techniques which were taught by Grand Master Nagamine to Ota.
