Mesa of Lost Women is a 1953 sci-fi horror film directed by Herbert Tevos and produced by Ron Ormond. The movie stars Jackie Coogan, Allan Nixon, Richard Travis, Robert Knapp, and Tandra Quinn. The story takes place in the desert of Mexico, where a mad scientist named Dr. Aranya (played by George Barrows) is conducting vivisection experiments on spiders and women. His goal is to create a race of superwomen who can carry out his nefarious plans for world domination.

The film begins with a group of pilots flying their planes over the Mexican desert. Suddenly, their planes malfunction and they are forced to make a crash landing on a remote mesa. As they try to find their way back to civilization, they stumble upon Dr. Aranya's laboratory and encounter his army of giant spiders and mutated women. The men soon learn that the spiders are controlled by Dr. Aranya's beautiful assistant, Tarantella (played by Quinn), who seduces them with her hypnotic dance moves.

Meanwhile, a young scientist named Dan Mulcahey (played by Travis) and his girlfriend Caroline (played by Lyle Talbot) are on a mission to find a rare species of spider in the Mexican desert. They soon come across the crashed planes and join forces with the stranded pilots to uncover the mystery behind their malfunctioning planes.

As the group explores the mesa, they discover Dr. Aranya's laboratory and witness his horrific experiments on the women. They also learn that Dr. Aranya has plans to create an army of superwomen who will help him take over the world. The group decides to put an end to Dr. Aranya's reign of terror and save the women from their gruesome fate.

Mesa of Lost Women is a classic example of B-movie horror with its low-budget special effects, campy dialogue, and over-the-top performances. The film is notorious for its portrayal of women, who are depicted as helpless victims or seductive creatures who lure men to their doom. Despite its flaws, Mesa of Lost Women remains a cult favorite among fans of bad movies and vintage sci-fi horror.

Mesa Of Lost Women is a 1953 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 10 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 2.7.
