National Lampoon Presents Robodoc is a comedic drama sci-fi film that was released in 2009. The film stars Alan Thicke, David Faustino and David DeLuise. Robodoc starts with introducing the world to the fact that the healthcare system that exists is in complete chaos. All of this has been a result of tons of malpractices from lawyers and doctors, insurance companies that are manipulative and deceptive, and doctors who are too overworked and undervalued. In order to try and combat all of the healthcare problems, the company aptly named R.I.P. Healthcare decides the best way to fix things is to develop a perfect robotic doctor named MD-63, or Robodoc. Robodoc is so flawless that with all of the medical information in the world stored in his banks, there's no chance of problems. Which means that all of the money from malpractice suits would stop coming for people like attorney Jake Gorman, played by Kenny Babel.

Robodoc was directed by Stephen Maddocks. It was also co-produced by Donald Tynes and Doug Gordon, who is an M.D. who also helped serve as a writer for the movie, along with Scott Gordon, M.D.
