Max is a happily married man residing in Los Angles with his wife and family. Max misses his flight trying to return from New York on a business trip and repeatedly crosses paths with Karen. The two become close and spend the night together in a passionate embrace. After a year passed Max and his wife fly to New York to visit their friend Charlie before he dies of AIDS. During the visit they meet Charlie's brother who is married to the other woman. Max must find a way to tell his wife about his affair before its too late.
