Watch Railroad of Hope

Railroad of Hope is a documentary film that was released in 2002 in China. The film takes a look at the building of the first railroad from central China to the most North West part of the country. The building of the railroad required thousands of workers to live inside of tiny mobile work cars, and much of the work was done by hand. The film features interviews with the workers, and explains the importance of building a railroad to a part of China that was considered to be autonomous at the time.
