Before the attack, the United States remained neutral when the war in Europe occurred. On the morning of December 7, 1941 the Japanese forces attacked Pearl Harbor- a military base in Hawaii. Many ships and planes were heavily damaged and destroyed and many lives were lost. The attack alone had Congress declare war on Japan and had the United States enter World War II. In the film, the veterans told the audience their experience when the Japanese attacked and the friends were lost during the attack. Remembering Pearl Harbor is a film where one attack made an impact in history.
