Live-action underwater footage reveals the hunting habits of the oceans' deadliest predators, sharks. Reef sharks, requiem sharks, and swell sharks are compared with the largest fish in the ocean, the whale shark, which moves ponderously through the water, feeding on tiny crustaceans and krill. Rare film sequences capture the mating rituals of hammerhead sharks and the diverse habitats of several other kinds of sharks. The program closes with the terrifying great white shark hunting seals and sea lions, an act which culls out animals that are weak or ill.
