The thriller Street involves a young athlete who has dreams of becoming a professional fighter and who spends all of his time both training and looking for a day job. Eventually, he finds himself torn between several different rough worlds: training with a world-class coach, finding easy money in a life of crime, making more difficult money as a bare-knuckle fighter, and defending himself and his loved ones from the predatory gangsters around him.

Remo Street is a great fighter, and he's also a basically good guy. His fledgling fighting career takes a turn when he meets a mysterious and beautiful woman. The encounter leads him into the world of high-stakes underground fighting. Unfortunately, that world is the domain of the Russian mob. It's a dangerous world to be in.

Street trains hard to realize his potential as a fighter. But the people he's forced to train with and fight against will put him and his family at risk of real harm.

The film was directed by Bradford May. The prolific May has also directed such low-budget films as The Seven Year Hitch, Chance at Romance, Groomzilla, Dark Man III: Die Darkman Die, and Cloudy with a Chance of Love.

Street was initially released in theaters in the U.S. in October 2015. Critics have noted that the movie is formulaic and hard to believe. However, some critics have noted that its fight scenes seem to be realistic, making it potentially of interest to fans of mixed martial arts.
