That the World May Know, Volume 9: The Whisper of God is a documentary which looks at the Old Testament. It makes it clear that perspective and understanding of other biblical material is important when studying any religious tome. The documentary uses New Testament material to look for greater meaning within the stories of both Moses and Elijah. In particular, it looks into the parallels of sacrifice and martyrdom within their lives. While discussing the biblical events, the documentary also shows video of the natural environments which these two biblical patriarchs may have walked through. It shows the importance of not only seeing them as mysterious figures, but also as people who walked through the same locations as people do today.
