Experience the American Journey through our country's visual heritage in this historical recording provided by the National Archives of the United States. From the U.S. Army's THE BIG PICTURE television series, 1950-1975. This week's THE BIG PICTURE is based on the true and very human story of Captain Kenneth Miller, a career Army officer, commissioned in 1954 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps. Scenes filmed over a period of several years follow Ken Miller from his freshman year at Cornell University to his mission of today, a deep personal and professional commitment to the security of his country. Captain Miller, his wife Jo, and the Miller children appear as themselves throughout this unusual chronicle.
